About

Hi, I’m Xue Ningyun Link to heading

On GitHub, I go by zeroicey. I use this site as a small personal space for technical notes, project explorations, and ideas that are worth slowing down and writing down.

One line I keep around as a personal motto is:

Go to the dock to order some french fries.

What I’m working on Link to heading

From the public work on my GitHub profile, my interests are spread across a few different areas, but they all feel connected by the same taste:

  • personal tracking and health-related products
  • calm, focused productivity tools
  • Neovim plugins and developer experience
  • smaller projects closer to graphics or systems-level programming

Some public projects that reflect those interests:

  • LifeSync-Health-Ultra-Web: a web project centered on holistic health management
  • serenique: a personal life-tracking system designed around clarity and calmness
  • bufswi.nvim: a lightweight Neovim buffer switcher
  • minecraft: a small Minecraft clone built with C++ and raylib

What I care about Link to heading

I keep returning to core programming ideas like interfaces, abstraction, and replaceability. I care not only about getting something to work, but also about whether the code stays understandable, adaptable, and easy to swap across implementations.

That is also why some posts on this blog lean toward concepts and reflection. They may not always be grand, but they aim to capture how I currently understand things.
